Summer Camp Merit Badge Selection
Please select one merit badge during each time block. (See notes regarding classes that meet in multiple time blocks.)
New scouts should select PATH, the program for first-year scouts, in each segment. (See the Leader Guide for more information on PATH.) Those who are not first-year scouts but are first-time summer campers should consult the PATH schedule and select those segments that they need for advancement, then may choose merit badges during the other segments.
Keep in mind that to complete a merit badge, a scout must attend class each day (typically Monday through Friday) and complete the pre-requisites shown in the Leader's Guide. Scouts who do not complete the pre-requisites will receive a Partial. Experience tells us that very few scouts (fewer than 5 percent) who earn a Partial at summer camp ever go on to complete the merit badge, so it is in a scout's best interest to complete the pre-requisites prior to summer camp. If you need assistance, talk to the Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster.
Badges shown in red are Eagle-required.
