Patrols Six: Nighthawks, Bacon Ninjas, Flying Frankfurters, Funky Monkeys, George, Vicious Vikings.
New Scout patrols are formed for first-year Scouts, assisted by older Scouts

Emphasis Camping, Hiking, Cooking, Service, Adventure, Leadership.
Annual program, camp-outs and meetings are planned and conducted by the Scouts themselves. Adults provide support, training, safety but do not run the troop or plan the program.
Troop Meetings Weekly, Tuesday evenings, at Novi Meadows 5th Grade
Outdoor Program We camp one weekend every month except December. Campouts usually start Friday evening and return Sunday morning.

Camp Holaka; Camp Greilick; D-A Scout Ranch; Kensington Camp; Luckey, Ohio; Southwest Pennsylvania; Council Camporee

Luging (Muskegon) – Tri-Challenge Camporee – Winter Fun – Canoeing – MIS – USAF Museum

High Adventure (Older Scouts and adults)

In recent years: Pictured Rocks; Philmont Scout Ranch (60-mile 12-day trek in New Mexico); Florida Sea Base

Planning: Florida Sea Base 2014. Local hiking and canoe treks regularly on Chief Pontiac Trail

Recent Service Projects Camp improvements at Camp Rotary and D-A; Chase Trail restoration and upgrades; Tollgate Farms orchard fence, garden irrigation, poultry house improvements and sap collection system upgrades; Lakeshore Park trail improvements and bench installation; Coordinate citywide collection at Scouting for Food
Costs Annual dues $85. Most camp-outs around $25. Summer camp, approx $325. Total annual cost approx. $600.
Fundraising Activities Council-sponsored popcorn sale; Clean grandstands at MIS – Others in the works
New Members Welcome at any time! Any boy who is at least age 11 or completed 5th grade, and not yet age 18, may join. Come to a troop meeting or get in touch via our Contact Us page.
Webelos Scouts are welcome to cross over once they have earned Arrow of Light.
